The AABA degree meets the lower level requirements (100 credits) of both the Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and the Bachelor's Degree in business Administration in Enterprise Management.

Fashion Design
The goal of the Fashion Design program is to develop creative and innovative designers equipped with the techniques of fine craftsmanship, attuned to the needs of the consumer, and armed with a strong business awareness and background. Draping, pattern drafting and construction are used to develop new concepts and to refine and develop the student's individual skills and talents. The student perfects the skill of working with equipment through the use of industrial machines, cutting tables, and dress forms. The University's fashion show production classes produce dazzling productions that provide an opportunity for AIU to showcase student designs.

With a business foundation, the program of study gives students a thorough understanding of marketing concepts, business strategies and career opportunities in the ever-changing, fast-paced fashion industry. Fashion Marketing is a demanding career that requires an understanding of retailing, planning/promotion, business administration, advertising, and information technology.

Interior Design

Through such courses as computer-aided design, the student uses sophisticated computer technology to develop and enhance his/her individual projects. The program varies some at the AIU campuses due to regional and cultural differences.

International Business
The International business program provides students with the experience and education necessary for careers in national as well as international organizations. The program is distinguished by its emphasis on business in an international context; yet, it is unmistakably American. The technologically enriched curriculum is designed to enhance written communication and oral presentation skills.

Media Production
If you are looking for a career in broadcasting, cable, corporate communications, web media, or the audio recording industry, start here. AIU will prepare you for work in the video and audio production fields. This is a very "hands-on" program where you'll shoot video with the latest in digital cameras, and edit on workstations that use either AVID or Final Cut Pro software. Or you can produce a "video magazine" style show in our 3-camera television production studio. You can "get the beat" in our Digital Audio Lab that features a recording studio and (5) workstations with the Logic and ProTools software. Learn about script writing, producing, directing, and composing from instructors who are active, working professionals in Atlanta. And compete for prizes and awards at the Annual AIU Student VidFest Awards Show, in a competition judged by industry experts!

Visual Communication
The Visual Communication program is designed to educate and develop artistic and imaginative students for careers in the fields of commercial art and design. Emphasis is placed on the development of the thinking process and the ability to solve design problems creatively.
