Studies (CSOS) at Alliant International University is dedicated
to teaching the skills and understanding that professionals need
to participate in managing the “people side” of organizations. Career

About Alliant International University
Alliant International University focuses on preparing
students for professional careers in the applied social sciences.
Our faculty, students and alumni are committed to making an impact
in society and to results that make a difference in the lives of
individuals, couples, families, schools, organizations, companies,
and nations.
Our institution applies scholarship to solve social problems and
has an abiding concern for diversity and internationalism. Formed
in July 2001 by the combination of the California School of Professional
Psychology (CSPP) and United States International University (USIU),
Alliant is an independent, not-for-profit institution of higher
education with a history distinguished by innovation.
Alliant has six California campuses: Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles,
Sacramento, San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Alliant's
Mexico City campus is the only University in Mexico authorized by
law to offer all of its programs in English. Alliant Mexico is also
the only university in Mexico all of whose programs are accredited
by an American accrediting agency. Alliant also runs a pioneering
program for psychologists in Tokyo, Japan.
Alliant meets the federal government's definition of a Hispanic
Serving Institution under Title V of the Higher Education Act of
1965. Alliant is accredited by the Western Association of Schools
and Colleges (WASC). The American Psychological Association accredits
our eight doctoral psychology programs. The doctoral PsyD program
in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) at Alliant's San Diego and
Irvine campuses was the first in the nation to be accredited by
the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy
Education (COAMFTE).
