Dental Assisting Diploma
The objective of the Dental Assisting program is to provide
graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them
to qualify for entry-level positions as dental assistants. While
it is not a prerequisite to employment as a dental assistant,
the importance of becoming a Registered Dental Assistant is
emphasized, and students become familiar with the types of practical
and written exams they will encounter when they sit for the
RDA exam. Upon successful completion of the Dental Assisting
program, students receive a diploma, a Radiation Safety Certificate
and verification of coronal polish completion.
Medical Assisting Diploma
The objective of the Medical Assisting program is to provide
graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them
to qualify for entry-level positions as medical assistants.
Since medical assistants are trained in both administrative
and clinical procedures, they are capable of filling a variety
of entry-level positions including Clinical or Administrative
Assistant, Medical Receptionist and Medical Insurance Biller.
This training program is divided into learning units called
modules. Upon successful completion of the modules, students
participate in a 160-clock-hour externship. Students have the
option to take the eight-month day program or the ten-month
evening program.
Medical Billing Diploma
The Medical Billing Program is designed to prepare the student
with the necessary background, knowledge, and specialized skills
for a career in the medical billing profession. Students learn
theory and skills from classroom lectures, laboratory practice,
and hands-on experience through the externship phase of training.
Eton’s Medical Billing program is uniquely structured to teach
the entry level skills required in today's medical offices with
emphasis on medical billing procedures. Some areas included
in Eton's Medical Billing program are:
Medical Office Transcription
Customer Service
Medical Law & Ethics
Health Insurance Processing

Essential Body Systems
Eton’s Medical Billing program consists of (5) 6-week modules,
including the core module, plus a medical billing externship
that provides students with a valuable opportunity to apply
what they have learned in the classroom to a real office setting.
Pharmacy Technician Diploma
The Pharmacy Technician program prepares the student with both
administrative and clinical skills for a position in retail,
hospital, clinic and home IV facilities. The program provides
the student with the theory and hands-on applications required
to demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles and
practices of pharmacy technology; recognize, spell, define,
and use appropriate medical terminology, words, and abbreviations;
use appropriate pharmacy skills; discuss and demonstrate how
to work with pharmaceutical dosage forms; and show competency
in performing pharmaceutical calculations.
