FMU Melbourne
FMU Melbourne’s tropically landscaped campus is across from
the intracoastal waterway and five minutes from the Atlantic
Ocean. The facility contains ten classrooms, two computer labs,
a medical lab, two video editing suites, a library and student
lounge, as well as administrative offices. The University faculty
is comprised of career professionals who specialize in the major
fields of study offered by the University, affording students
current, practical knowledge as well as textbook learning. Most
full-time and adjunct faculty have Master’s, Doctorate or law
degrees.
Associate of Science degree in Accounting
The Associate of Science degree in Accounting offers an introduction
to the principles of accounting. Other components include payroll,
tax and computerized accounting, and financial statement analysis.
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
The Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting prepares students
to measure and communicate the financial position of an enterprise
and provide advice on taxation, management services, and the
analysis of information systems. Students also gain knowledge
of auditing through theory and practice.
Associate of Science degree in Business
The Associate of Science degree in Business offers introductory
courses in business enterprise, marketing, finance, and human
resources, plus business law and advertising. With the demand
for computer knowledge in the business world, students are also
given experience in computer applications.
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration is
designed primarily for those who plan to enter or advance in
a small business environment or for those in a mid-level management
position in either private or public enterprise.
