Founded in 1965, Herzing College is one of the first post secondary institutions in the US to train students for the computer industry. Business education and computers training has always been the principal focus of Herzing, even while it grew to encompass twelve colleges in the US and Canada.

Over the decades, Herzing has diversified its educational programs, and now offers courses in business management, electronics and health care as well. Along with diplomas, Herzing also possesses the credentials to award associate degrees at all its US campuses and bachelor’s degrees at most of them. It also offers full certificates training and preparation for advanced certification examinations such as Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer with credits (in the US) transferable to a degree program.
