Advanced Medical Assistant - Diploma
Advanced Medical Assistants enjoy secure, prestigious positions. Program graduates work in entry-level positions with one or more physicians in private practices, clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and other health care facilities assisting in a variety of administrative and clinical duties. Courses include training in anatomy and physiology, administrative and clinical procedures, computer operations and basic x-ray instruction.

Health Services Administration - Diploma
With training in accounting, computers, and medical insurance claim processing, graduates can assume entry-level positions as patient billing and collections personnel, medical business office staff, assistant bookkeepers, medical insurance claims processors, accounts payable/receivable clerks, payroll processors and medical administrative assistants. Primary employers include physicians' offices, hospitals, medical equipment suppliers, clinics and medical insurance companies.

Medical Coding Specialist - Diploma
With training in advanced medical insurance coding, graduates are qualified for positions in physicians' offices, hospitals, and medical insurance companies performing essential business services. Medical Coding Specialists analyze medical records using a comprehensive health care coding and classification system. They also perform billing and claims reimbursement services.

Patient Care Technician - Diploma
Training as a Patient Care Technician qualifies graduates for a wide range of rewarding careers. Patient Care Technicians are vital front-line members of the health care team and are cross-trained to perform a variety of basic medical services. Students receive an exceptionally broad foundation of knowledge that can be applied to medical settings such as hospitals, medical centers, clinics, nursing homes and home health agencies. Employment opportunities include performing duties as advanced Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, Patient Care Assistants, Electrocardiograph Aides, Phlebotomists, Allied Health Assistants and Patient Care Technicians.

Surgical Technologist - Diploma
This program prepares individuals to perform the services of a Surgical Technologist which includes such duties as passing instruments to surgeons during surgical procedures, checking supplies and equipment required for surgical procedures, setting up sterile tables with instruments and other equipment needed for procedures, draping sterile fields and other similar activities. Graduates are eligible for entry-level positions as Surgical Technologists in hospital surgical suites, outpatient surgical centers and physicians' offices. In addition to preparing for and assisting in surgical procedures, other functions may be permitted by hospital or employer policies.
