Phoenix Career College began as the Stirling School in 1975 and
has continuously offered career programs from that year forward.
As Arizona Paralegal Training Program, it has enjoyed an excellent
reputation throughout the southwest and the nation for graduating
top-quality paralegals.
That program has been approved by the American Bar Association since
1987. Phoenix is the seventh largest city in the nation and is the
hub of the rapidly growing southwestern United States. Climate has
been a major factor in the economic development of the area, with
an average of 306 sun-filled days every year.
Each spring, Phoenix hosts the Cactus League -- eight major league
baseball teams -- during spring training and now boasts the new
Bank One Ball Park in the heart of downtown. Phoenix has museums
to suit nearly every taste, as well as parks, golf courses, and
other cultural hotspots.
Phoenix Career College offers accredited programs and financial
aid is available for those who qualify.
A top-quality paralegal education can be yours with paralegal career
training from Phoenix Career College, which is one of the top paralegal
schools in the Southwest and the nation.
Phoenix Career College's paralegal program sets the standard for
paralegal education. For starters, all of our paralegal schools
are approved by the American Bar Association. Also, all of our paralegal
schools provide nation-wide career placement.
Another strength of the Phoenix Career College paralegal program
is the emphasis on real-world experience. All of Phoenix Career
College's schools include an internship so that our students can
get hands-on experience in the field.
As part of our Day General Practice Program, you'll complete a
120-hour internship with a law firm, government agency, or corporation.
You'll choose from scores of opportunities for one that suits your
interests and aspirations. Then you'll apply your skills in a real
work situation - learning on the job while you improve your confidence.
The internship provides experience for issues that the future paralegal
faces. Book knowledge is put into practice under the supervision
of attorneys, senior paralegals, and/or court personnel. Additionally,
you have the opportunity to explore specific areas of law that interest
you, such as trial practice, telecommunications, or environmental
law.
The classroom component of the internship gives students the opportunity
to discuss their internship experiences, prepare for job searches
through guidance in resume preparation and interviewing skills,
and gain an understanding of the roles they will play as working
legal assistants.
Paralegal is a fine profession, opening new doors in your career
and in your life. Phoenix Career College can prepare you for a paralegal
career in as few as six months. That's because our paralegal program
is more concentrated than other schools' paralegal programs, which
tend to take longer to complete.
Finding a job is simple. Our Career Development staff can help
you find paralegal and legal assistant jobs in your city or across
the nation. Contact Phoenix Career College today and get the career
you deserve!
