Participatory learning is fostered through a carefully crafted curriculum that utilizes student discussions, case studies and team projects, where students are active learners rather than passive listeners. Even the classrooms are set up to facilitate interactive learning. This environment has proven to best enable the student to master technical and professional skills, and develop leadership and critical thinking skills necessary in today’s competitive job market.

Jim Kay of Class of 1995 is quoted....
I have to credit my success with the unsurpassed understanding of the IT field I gleaned from my experience at Potomac College. I think that the most important aspect was the opportunity to actually apply that which I was learning in the classroom to real life business situations. Through the cohort model I was introduced to the inner workings of many different corporate atmospheres, thus enabling me to better understand the needs of my varied clientele. Starting one's own company can be an intimidating undertaking, however, the day I put on my cap and gown, I felt truly ready to face whatever "Corporate America" handed out."
