Pilot Programs
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology offers several flight
programs designed to help you reach your specific career goals.
You can pursue the pilot career of you choice in such fields as
general aviation, aerial photography, flight instruction, corporate
aviation or the airline industry.
Aviation Maintenance
Spartan's aviation maintenance/aircraft mechanic school will provide
you with the knowledge and skills you need to earn your FAA airframe
and powerplant licenses. Learn about all types of aircraft from
small, single-engine airplanes to large, transport airplanes such
as those used by the major airlines.
Aviation Electronics Technician (Avionics)
Spartan's aviation electronics technician program offers an industry
current program that will prepare you for a job in avionics immediately
after graduation. This is an intense electronics core program that
will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to specialize
in the field of aviation electronics.
Aviation Instrument/Electronics Technician (Avionics)
The aviation instrument/electronics degree program at Spartan combines
aviation instruments with aviation electronics training. Instrument
technicians test and repair the instruments that provide pilots
with information to properly and safely fly aircraft.
Quality Control/Nondestructive Testing Technician
Spartan's quality control/nondestructive testing technician diploma
program offers you a short training time for a job that is in high
demand. You will develop the knowledge and skills you need to perform
sophisticated testing techniques that are required in many industries.
Upon completion of Spartan's quality control/nondestructive testing
technician program, you will be prepared to develop, maintain and
enforce quality control program.
Communication Technician
Spartan's communication technician program wil prepare you to test,
repair and maintain communication equipment throughout the world.
Learn to work with such high tech systems as satellites, the Internet,
fiber optics, radio and TV.
Military - Veterans, Reservists, National Guard
Most Spartan courses are approved for veterans by the Oklahoma State
Accrediting Agency. All of Spartan's technical courses are covered
under these programs! Also included is the Associate of Applied
Science Aviation Program.
CAREER PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE
Since 1928, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology has provided
over 80,000 highly skilled graduates to employers world wide. Spartan
graduates hundreds of technicians and pilots every year and students
complete programs monthly.
Spartan's Graduation Placement office works closely
with employers in the aviation industry as well as many other industries
that require skilled graduates from various programs of study. Graduation
and recruiting takes place all year long. Employees are very pleased
with the convenience of not having to wait until the end of a traditional
college year to recruit students who are ready to begin work immediately.
STUDENT HOUSING
Spartan offers student on-campus housing which is comfortable and
affordable for single students. Spartan also has a reserved housing
program with arrangements through local apartment complexes to provide
housing for both single and married students.
