Other distance learning programs require you to leave your career
to go back to school or participate in out-dated correspondence
courses that just do not have any academic depth or peer support.
At the University of Cincinnati we're different. We've created a
unique and powerful way to learn that leverages the strengths of
traditional programs with new technologies and proven distance learning
methods.
Benefits
Unprecedented Support-Every Step of the Way
Our distance learning Master's of Educational Administration program
is not a simple correspondence course. It is a fully supported "virtual
classroom" that equals the care and attention afforded to our
on-campus students, including full-time faculty and the personal
attention of an instructional facilitator and the support of the
learning community. This unprecedented level of student support
creates a vastly more enriching and involved learning experience
that results in higher graduation rates and more satisfied students.
Course Delivery Methods
Our Educational Administration program uses a multifaceted approach
that delivers course content through a combination of multi-media
presentations, readings, discussion sessions, online assignments,
peer and professional support systems and local practica. This means
that, unlike so many other programs, you are never limited to one
learning method.
Learn at Home
The majority of the course content is conveniently delivered to
you via multimedia presentations, online readings, or textbooks.
A schedule is available on the course website that includes information
on assignments, due dates, quizzes, presentations, and discussion
topics. Students can access this information anytime, anywhere.
Learn Online
The highest quality and amount of peer/faculty interaction possible
is available through the course website. Through this centralized
portal, students have access to threaded discussion forums, class
e-mail, online quizzes and assignments, and course announcements.
Your very own "virtual classroom" is only as far away
as your home or office computer.
Learn Together
New technologies and our unique learning model allow you to realize
the benefits of a small group learning environment without the need
to travel back to campus. Learning groups participate in group projects
and share real world experiences that enrich their understanding
of the course content - all in a virtual classroom.
Learn at Work
As you advance through coursework, you will have the opportunity
to put your learning to practice in your local school and district,
and immediately apply your new knowledge and skills to real world
problems, situations, practica and internships.
